- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Most frustrating experience ever. My sister was coming to town and the one thing she asked to do was go to a shaver shack... I called on Monday and spoke with someone who recommended I come Tuesday instead of Monday since it would have more activities. We spoke about the sugar shack and I said I'd definitely come the next day. The next day I drove all the way out there wth my infant and sister only to find out they would not be able to accommodate us at all since they started a morning tour with a school and maybe they could do a tour for us at 6:30 at night (it was 11:00). Just awful. I was so frustrated as it's not as though "I just showed up" I had spoken to them on the phone just the day before! I'm a teacher and organize a lot of field trips and have never been met by such an unfriendly, or unapologetic experience. I will not be returning or booking anything here in the future. There are lots of other places, so no need for this level of frustration for what should have been a relaxing family day.By Tanya Thomson, September 03, 2016
